Mass Deportation
Is it true that 11-25 million undocumented immigrants are all criminals? Let's take this question on face value as many of us do; the US has an immigration problem as do most Western countries, both sides can agree to that. The higher (but receding) standard of living means that our countries are sought after by others, and that's a good thing. From a purely selfish point of view, it gives us access to the greatest minds around the globe since they want to be "here" and not "there". This is an incredibly valuable resource to exploit for a nation's benefit. The extent to which immigration is the root cause of our current economic and political climate is another question in itself and we will cover that in another post, however it is the underlying premise as to why so many people today are jumping on the deportation bandwagon that seeks to lump every single one of these individuals in the same basket.
